#20 Study Vacation
oh yeh, I am finally in the mood to start my revision. Even though it's not very productive it's marked the start of my revision journey. :). Started with Microeconomics as it'll be the first paper which is scheduled on the 17th.
It's cold and so nice to sleep in. My bed keeps beckoning me and of course I couldn't resist the temptation. Pls move my bed outta of my room and return it to me when I am done revising.

#19 Super Star
Just a few hours ago, I was with a friend of mine Michael at this super star singing contest which was held at my uni. Thinking that I had nothing to do at home made the idea of watching the contest even more tempting and there I was, watching 15 contestants competed with each other.
The big contrast in the skills of the contestants made the competition a bit boring after the good ones had performed. Well that's not the point I am trying to bring up, but the fact that someone unexpected be crowned the champion made me feel like throwing rotten eggs at him and the organizer. Omg!!! He is not even good!!! and his falsetto is at stake and I wouldn't be this mad if he is good looking but guess what, I am just speechless now.
Sorry for the crappy picture. But yeh, it really makes me wonder, what is it that they really want from a contestant?
On the other hand, I couldn't believe I didn't even have 2 dollars left in my wallet when I was about to catch a bus home. OMG!!!!! I had to call Michael for some money and he had to ask his friend to come back to uni to give me the money. Just for that 2 dollars!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Poor me :(. btw, thank you very much Michael. :)

#17 Last day of uni
yeh, I am done with uni, well at least for this semester. Not exactly done yet, exams are coming so I am actually having study vacation tomorrow onwards.

#16 Monopoly collection
People who know me well must have known that I am a big fan of Monopoly. Well not just playing with them but also to collect them. :).
yeh I know it's such an expensive hobby.
So I added one more item to my collections- The World Edition. :). It's not the electronic version with credit cards instead of notes but to be honest I actually prefer the old version which uses cash notes to trade. That's the version which we have been playing with since childhood isn't it?
So now you know what kinda present you can get me. :)

#15 Salsa
Yeh i just came back from my last lesson of Salsa and I felt great. Feeling great not in terms of I am qualified as a professional salsa dancer because I still am not, but because I got to do something meaningful on a Tuesday night. I need to get my life back, been losing it for the past few weeks and no I am not gonna let anyone get it my way anymore. :)
There is this pretty lady (well she is really pretty) who popped me a question when I was dancing with her just now.
"do you mind if I ask how old are you?" She asked, feeling a bit intrusive but I am not surprised at all.
"21. haha too young? hahaha." I said half jokingly.
"wow, 21. I never thought I would see such young people in this class!" She said, with a smile on her face.
"now you do! hehehe" i said and then we both laughed.
It somehow feels nice to be the youngest among all the students in the class. The average age of the class is around 26 I reckon and it's always nice to mingle around with peopel older than you because you get to learn a lot of things from them. :). Say goodbye to gullibility :).
Anyway despite being the youngest, I also feel so vertically challenged when I dance with all the girls in the class. Omg, I am merely their shoulder height sometimes. how embarassing!!!! but well it's the skill not the height we are looking at ok!!!!! :)

#14 Insomnias
ok, i hate insomnias!! seriously, it's very frustrating having to toss about in bed for 4 hours thinking that you would have to wake up early for uni in just a few hours time. It's the worst thing that can ever happen to anyone. Well for me, it's even worse because i had noone to phone at such wee hours of 5.30 in the morning. hahaha.
Whenever I have insomnias, I would grab my ipod and put the earphone on and blast my ears to the extreme. I know it's stupid because that will definitely make you more awake but what to do I am such a saddist. lol.
You might be wondering "why don't you count the sheeps like what people normally do?"
"Because I freaking have no idea what a sheep is like!"
Yeh you heard me, i can't normally visualize how a sheep looks like and it takes hell lot of an effort to just visualize and wouldn't it take up more of my brain cells and make me more awake? So yeh, it's a no no for me.
Besides that I like to disturb my friends or even my siblings when I have insomnias. The idea that I couldn't fall asleep makes me such a selfish bastard that I can't afford to see others soundly asleep. So, don't whack me if I do that to you because that's just me. and just keep me accompanied by talking to me and i will be able to fall asleep in no time.
So what do you normally do when you have insomnias?

#13 Pillows
Tell me about it. I woke up at 11 already wasted half a day and thought I would be more productive after lunch. Who knows slacker like me would give myself tonnes of excuses to not study and do my assignment. Well one of the distractions came from facebook, I am not gonna blame the person who sent me the restaurant city invitation. No I am not gonna say the name!
A friend of mine came over today and threw me a question when he saw the three pillows on my bed.
"do you use all the three pillows?" He asked.
"yeh of course. why would I put them there if i am not using all three of them?" I said, looking puzzled.
"how can you use three pillows in just one single bed?" He then asked and I felt obliged to show him.
I then proceeded to my bed and showed him why I need three pillows.
"so the first one over there with the apples pillow case is to protect my head from knocking onto the bed frame or the wall. The one in the middle is for me to lay my head on. and the third one is for cuddling purpose." I gave him full demonstration with me cuddling the pillow on the bed. Ok, maybe it looked somehow disturbing but hey that's my sleeping habit.
"Would you cuddle the pillow throughout the whole night? or you will lose it in the middle of the night?"
"hmm pretty much the whole night! It feels like I am cuddling someone to sleep. sounds sad but a pillow is what I use for a substitute!" I then said, giggled at my very own thought.
"oh by the way I used to have one more for my legs at the end of the bed." i then added.

#12 Night at the museum 2
Wasn't as funny as I thought it would be and to be honest, i fell asleep half way through the movie. The animations were good, the crews were good, but the jokes were lame and the idea was so such a cliche. I was thinking of having a laugh to make the day easier, but it didn't quite do the job.
So people if you have nothing better to spend 11 dollars on, go for this movie. I would otherwise suggest to you a better lunch. :)
Dinner was nice with Nick and my cousin at this Hunan restaurant serving one of the best Hunan cuisine in town. Nick and I downed a bottle of red wine after that. After all it's Saturday night it's totally fine to have a few sips (ok I know a few sips is an understatement). Oh by the way, sex amd the city is still on the top of my list of the best american series. It kinda compensated for the disappointing night at the museum.

#11 Jogging at Centennial Park
Woken up by the recurring dream this morning at around 7am and couldn't fall back to sleep. What on earth is wrong with me? maybe I need more pillows, three of them aren't really enough for me I reckon.
Nick called at 10sth asking me to join him for a jog in the park. Well, given the fact that I am such an outdoor guy (no?), I straight away said yes. He picked me up at around 11. The funny part is I couldn't find my track pants and jogging shoes hence I put on short pants and my Diesel as a change. What an inappropriate outfit to be seen in the park. lol.
The jogging track is surrounded by balding trees with all the yellowish leaves hanging onto them waiting to be shed.
The lake is extremely peaceful today. I couldn't help but to stand by it and stare out straight in hope that it will pass on the peace to me. I could feel that every single thing in the park isn't liking the winter scene. It makes the once lively park less lively.
Stayed in uni till night time trying to finish my assignments. I couldn't agree more with the abbreviation of my uni UNSW -- u never sleep well.

So Jason sent me this picture and told me that he was shocked that the girl in the middle looks so much like me at first sight. Well, I personally don't think so but every of my friends around are siding Jason so I really don't have a say.
"omg, I thought it's Shane dressing up with...." Stef said.
"Are you sure it's not Shane himself?" xxx said.
and many more similar comments. Seriously, that alike???
The irony is I actually saw the girl when I was in Melbourne at my friend's party. lol.
My friend Leena told me there are 6 people in this world that look like us. So where are the other 5? hehe.

anyway, Nick allowed me to drive his manual operated car on Monday and I indeed scared the shit outta him. Well, what do you expect? after almost four years of not driving a stick, I kinda totally forgot how to drive a manual car!!!! but anyway we are still in one piece aren't we??? Well, it won't be long till the second experience. let's see how I will go with it. :) Hopefully it will be smooth:)

#9 Zee Avi
Came across this clip in someone's blog. Zee Avi (a Malaysian singer) has definitely got a fantastic voice, it's soothing and is always able to sip into your veins all the way to your heart,especially on a rainy day when it's wet and cold. She reminds me of JoannaWong (王若琳）and subsequently brings back all the memories that I am trying to set aside.
It's raining again and I came home caught in the rain with my hood on. The weather is just too nice to sleep in that I am not doing any work now. Final is looming and I am still procrastinating. Someone please slap me in the face and wake me up, if you hate me enough, i don't mind if you slap me on both sides of my face. :). #8 华文记
好一段时间没用中文写文章了。很想念写作，想念那种情绪和感觉在文字中游走的满足感，也怀念以前善于用文字和言语表达自己的能力。呆坐在荧幕前，没办法把文字串连起来，觉得非常地力不从心。也发现了自己是多么地词不达意。心中纵使有千言万语也不能一字一句地表达出来。德发，想讥讽我的话，就请便吧。
想家了。最近电话老妈的次数越来越频密，老妈也很明事理地问我 “今天又发生什么事了？”。看来我之前还真的不常给她打电话。老妈说我一定是又碰钉子了。 不然哪来的闲情给她打电话。我无奈地默认了。其实也不是什么碰不碰钉子的，就是想听她的声音，很有镇静的作用。
妈说我好命惯了，吃不了苦，从出世到现在什么都是一帆风顺，所以稍有挫折就可以很轻易地把我击垮。我想也是。说我好强不如说我输不起。
最近朋友和我说，人生如戏。老套陈词但是当你亲身体验之后你就会觉得自己就是最佳男演员。生活中很多戏子，我们也在不经意中当了主角，陪戏子把这岀戏演得淋漓尽致。怕只怕在故事的终点，主角太如戏没办法走出来，又一部热泪的悲剧。朋友就说，当心点儿，记得在闭幕的时候来个华丽的转身，鞠躬谢幕，然后潇洒地离开舞台。很多时候，我们都只在意过程，并没有为故事的结局画上漂亮的句点，所以生活中才有那么多的遗憾和不完美。

晚上去跳舞。真希望一天２４小时都在跳舞。有谁要当我的舞伴？

#7 It's Monday again
It's Monday again and as usual I skipped the Geology class and the econs class right after that. Well reason being that I wouldn't pay attention even if I go so why bother? Anyway I promised myself I will go next week for it's the last lecture for this semester. :). It's not very helpful I know but I am just trying to make myself feel better here. lol.

#6 I don't like Sunday
I don't like Sunday. It tells you you have to go back to uni again tomorrow. It also tells you that you shouldn't go out because you have to get ready for uni tomorrow. Well for me, it's more. It means I have incomplete assignments, lots of materials to go through-- the aftermaths of skipping lectures.
So the best thing to do on Sunday is to actually watch Crayon Shin Chan.He makes you laugh, makes you temporarily forget what is on your mind, and also gives you hope that life can actually be so simple.
A friend of mine just got out of relationship for the same old reason. Are we too gullible or people out there are just too good in disguising themselves? Anyway, do not afraid to love because without love our life will be so dull. Don't forget I am just a phone call away, you know who you are :)

#5 Live life like a blind
Opsss it's almost 12 and I am doing the last minute posting here. :). Just to be called a consistent blogger. I always am ain't I?
Ok this picture is so cool. The only caption I can come up with is to live life like a blind. Come to think of it, it's sometimes nice to not see how the world or the person you are close to are changing. Changes aren't always good, especially when it doesn't turn out your way. How I wish a lot of things could remain but it just seems like they never would.

#4 Shopping Spree
So it's Friday and i have got no classes on Friday!!! Well having no classes doesn't really grant me with more sleep. I had to get up at 9.30 for a group meeting scheduled at 11am. :(. Well at least I got full 8 hours of sleep before that. Can't complain.
Went to the city after that to collect my translated script for my driving license. 65 dollars for a few words translated from Malay to English makes me think the idea of becoming a qualified translator isn't that bad afterall. Money wise of course. :)
Went to Ben Sherman outlet after that for this VIP Shopping Spree where you get 40% off everything in the store. I couldn't stop scooping up all the clothes and try them on and wanna bag them all home. Well, 40% is alot, but my wallet couldn't afford more than 1 jacket, 2 t-shirts and also 1 pajamas. Of all the things I got, I am particularly excited about the pajamas that i brought home. Wonder what is wrong with me, pajamas??? are you serious????? and how exciting it is to get a pajamas within 5 second -- I paid for all my clothes and was ready to go out when I came across this pajamas hanging there waiting for me to check it out. Of course I couldn't resist the temptation and went near it. That's when I found myself took it off the hangers and ran towards Jason who was paying at that time and asked him to pay for me. The whole process took up only 10 seconds. lol. Talking about experiences. lol.
Ok today I am wearing this green shirt with Nobita on it. Everyone was visually raping me and it kinda gave me this mixed uncomfortable yet hey-what's-wrong-with-getting-all-the-attention feelings. Yeh wait till I put on my shin chan shirt. lol.

Ok today I am wearing this green shirt with Nobita on it. Everyone was visually raping me and it kinda gave me this mixed uncomfortable yet hey-what's-wrong-with-getting-all-the-attention feelings. Yeh wait till I put on my shin chan shirt. lol.

Project 365 #3
I was writing the previous in the petroleum economics lecture yesterday and now i am writing this in my microeconomics tutorial. You must be wondering "aren't you doing petroleum engineering? but how come you are doing two econs subjects?"
*and the guy sitting next to me is, for the first time, listening to the submission question presentation because the girl presenting is pretty (seriously i don't think she is pretty at all). Tim, you are so superficial!!!!*
So speaking of economics, I just got my midterm exam paper back. The tutor is so bias that he gave me 1.25marks for that particular question but my friend got 1.5 marks for the exact same answer. That's not fair, and honestly, if the 2.5 marks are for the handwriting, I deserved it!!!!! But anyway, I don't really care but it just pissed me off. Don't get me wrong, I still like my tutor, he always comes in unprepared. So cool isn't he? lol.
On the other notes, winter is coming. I am already feeling the chill and not liking it. Maybe it's time to put some new addition to my wardrobe to keep myself warm during the cold and lonely winter days. However, it's still nice to see the colourful withering leaves in the morning. It really does cheer people up.

Project 365 #2
I should probably give credit to the guest lecturer from PWC for making me updating my blog here. The lecture is just too boring!! Risk management just ain't my cup of tea really. and who the hell attend lectures at 8am in uni?
A picture taken at Darling Harbour. Love going there and love the hot chocolate from Lindt Cafe. Strolling along the harbour with a cuppa hot chocolate in hand makes life so easy and uplifting. Haven't been there in a while. The memories are just too overwhelming.

Project 365 #1
Got this idea from Mao, project 365 means 365 portraits in a year which in other words daily update on the blog. :) Hope I am gonna be consistent this time.
When i am writing this, I only had a fish burger for dinner. Got a medium set from mcdonald with tea instead of coke. But guess what, the guy gave me a cup of hot water, two packs of sugar and milk but no tea bag!!! Did i not order tea? For a change, I had green tea with burger, what a weird combination I know but I seriously couldn't care less.
I am still hungry. Could anyone send me some rice? If you are kind enough do you mind bringing me some sticky rice? Because that will really help with my hunger atm. It's cold and I am hungry how much sadder can my life be? okok maybe not that bad becaue i still have apple and strawberries :)
Called my mum last night and she asked "why are you calling? missing me already?" I wanted to deny but what's the problem of missing your mum anyway? and I told her i miss her cookings more. How mean!!!
"you sound upset" Mum said.
"yeh a little, been quite troubled lately" I said.
"what's wrong?" Mum asked again.
"lots of problem." I said.
"try to talk to someone and dont keep everything to yourself, i know you so well" she said.
Of all the conversations we had last night, this one in particular made me teary and I just wanna hug her tightly as a son, a son that misses his mum.
