Laze around

well, i have just finished the petroleum mid test. screwed it!!!!!! i, for once in my life, studied so hard, read up all the chapters covered, but it turned out most of the questions were not from the text book. ok file closed.

i have not been updating all these days, the reason is pretty obvious, i have been so caught up with the busy uni life. actually i am supposed to revise for the next subject, but in order not to go crazy, not to addle my brain, not to make the people that love me worried(this is pretty much unnecessary), i decided to relax. i am always relax, aint i?

i have nothing to blog about today. so i will just post up some pictures.

Tim and me, drinking the guava Vodka in the uni during the petroelum engineering studnets' party. well, Tim floated his way to the next class. drunk? haha, i don't know. what do you think Tim?
yeah, this is one of my coursemate Leena. She is from Brunei, a Shell scholar. hey, the camwhoring wasn't my idea, was her idea. so yeah, nothing special, just to clarify!! hehe..
This is a picture taken by Bahi (one of my coursemate from Saudi Arabia, whom i believed is a professional photographer). The pic is nice, isn't it? They are all my coursemates!!
This is the law building in my uni. i think this is among the prettiest building in my uni. lucky law students. the interior design is magnificent. i will snap some picture by chance. (sorry kar, i will snap some pic as soon as possible).
This girl could dance on this condition. she is damn good.
from left hind row : Bahi, me, Ali, Tim, Wani, Khai yi, Ming hua
from left front row: i-forgot-his-name, Stef, and Kian Tuck (not sure about the spelling)
haha, Francois my roommate. He was putting on his Fox-costume which his mum mailed him from France. He is going to wear it in circular quay to take a pic for remembrance soon. haha. so yeah, he currently hang the costume behind the door, so he asked me out of nowhere :" are u scared? later you wake up in the midnight and look at it, you think it is real!" haha, cute~~haha, i think i should also put it on and take a pic!!! hehe..

Fish Market

On the way going to Fish Market. none of us had breakfast just to leave the room for the yummy seafood there. yeah, i eat seafood now, not because i love, just because i have to try to love it, and eat it. But actually seafood is nice if i am not allergic to them. From left, Sherene, Suchada, Katherine, Tom and KK.
Arrived at out destination after twenty minutes walk, or more than that?

Mud crab~~this is finger-licking good, trust me!!!!
oyster! it's fresh, but i dun like oyster though.

ok, the bank management is smart enough. you will need money for all the delicious seafood. no money no talk~so, the only atm machine there is definitely the most frequent visited spot than any other seafood stalls.
why dog?????? shouldn't it be a cat to make more sense? a dog is less likely fond of seafood than a cat!!!!!!

starving!!!!! Katherine was countdown'ing??..hehe.. yeah, a much bigger shade on a small face. too bad~~~ aha, fish market is located next to the harbour. so you can always see every kind of seagulls or seabirds there. this is one of them. posing for me. damn vain~~

A day to North Ryde

Tom is going to look for a room in North Ryde to move in, which he hopes the university is just within walking distance from that place. Since i was bored to death and nothing much i could do at home besides watching the season finale of Prison Break II, i followed him and KK( soon to be Tom's brother-in-law). yeah, Macquarie University was the place that we headed. Klcc (jun qing) is currently doing actuarial science there too, but too bad, i didn't call him up as we were there for something else.

it's an hour bus ride from QVB, a shopping paradise for high-wages status which is only 5 mins walk from my place. I was sound asleep in the bus as a result of the fitul night yesterday, so forgive me for not taking any picture on the way there. sorry sorry. In the uni, while Tom was checking out the rent ad on the notice board, an ad on the same notice board captured my attention.
so, here it is, the private tutor advertisement. the private tutor ad itself was not interesting enough to catch my attention, but the words at the bottom part of the ad, especially the two bold words "GOOD LOOKING" conveyed a very unsensible feel towards my brain. The first thing i did was to scan through again the whole ad to make sure whether the tutor is looking for good looking student or the tutor himself is good looking. so, the second read proved me right, the tutor is saying that he is cute, by stressing the word " good looking" in capital letter and bold type. The second thought flashed through my mind but got stucked immeidately was that what does "good-looking" have to do with tutor, or with students themselves? not making sense right? ok, maybe being taught by good looking tutor is something exotic, as in you kill two bird with one stone, you will get the lesson at the end of the day, and u get the satisfaction for your eye-sight or more?!!! the look of the tutor itself will somehow add some credit to the lesson. HOWEVER, since when good looking has become an attraction or advantage for a tutor?
ta da~~~private tutor KK. haha, he didn't reject my stupid request asking him to be my model. but he is cute, isn't he? of course i would like to have this kind of tutor~~photo courtesy to KK!!!

ok then, i link something up which is obviously my own problem and has nothing to do with the tutor. "Private tutor", "Good-Looking", can u picture it? no? ok never mind, try to put them both together again, "Private tutor", "Good-looking"...it sounds so horny and not right (i would prefer to say than wrong) to put them together, doesn't it? it's something like seduction or falling in love with the tutor as most of the drama series adopted such a story line recently or years before. okok, i have probably thought too much and wild imagination huh? haha. by the way, it's my own idea and wild imagination, no offense to the advertiser. last but not least, students would always go for good-looking tutor rather than the not so good-looking tutor. but it will definitely be a distraction.

I thought my camera was not going to be worthwhile today until i saw this tree with almost-withered-yellowish-or-reddish leaves hanging on it. it's such a beautiful picture and a nice view to enjoy. a typical sign of autumn!!

Fartology

aha, this is interesting. i came across this "license" in Blue Mountains, but you can actually see it everywhere in Sydney which i have only found out today. The idea is fresh and creative enough to capture my attention. adequate musical sounds? this part is funny, i never know we can fart in so many different ways. or does that mean we can categorise fart as we do to music: rock fart, sentimental fart, jazz fart, R&B fart, miscellaneous fart, love fart and so on. well, just like Justin Timberlake, the R&B king, we will have another "Justin Timberlake", the R&B fart king. That's awesome!!!!

Something biological thing flashing through my brain now. Silent fart and Noisy fart. We used to know that silent fart is the kind of fart that stinks real bad while the noisy fart is the ordourless one. However, as what we see in our daily life, people cover their nose when they hear someone is farting, yeah noisy farting to be exact, but they do not cover their nose while people is silent farting. that's really weird!! This has proven that audio stimuli is always stronger than the nasal stimuli.

another interesting fact about fartology. people are always ashamed of farting. they do not admit it they are facting because they find farting is shameful? haha. Also i think there are this kind of people who will hold back their fart urge in a closed area. They will try their best not to fart no matter how urgent it has been. so as a result, they might not be able to withstand the accumulated force of the toxic gas wanting to be released, and yeah you guess it right, they will probably fart eventually, with a little bit of faeces coming out, and leave a skid mark on the underwear. "ewww!!!!!" i know you want to say that. but that's so true, i guess? because i have never experienced that.

Frankly speaking, i have always had something for those people who can fart continuosly for like 30 seconds? aw, that's too long, i would rather say more than 5 seconds? really, they are great!!! Normal people cant do that. and Normal people do not have the balls dare to do that!!! However, inform people around you that you wana fart beforehands. That's the manner that matters. and yeah, the very point that you have to bear in mind, inform people if you have had durians within a few hours ago, that's very important. if you wana live in one piece, u better bear in mind!!!

ok, so now, get your license to fart, and be catogorised on which categories you wana be in. And fart as much as you want!!!

Sunbath in Bondi Beach

yeah, a day spent in the famous Bondi Beach in Sydney. They said that if you've never been to Bondi Beach, then you should not say you have been to Sydney. so yeah, i was not in Sydney for the last two months. sad case.

so, July and Melinda asked me along to Bondi Beach. I went there without bringing along the towel and swimming clothes, that's weird. But actually i just wanted to be there for sightseeing. Took a bus, 380, to Bondi beach, passing through Oxford Street and Bondi Junction (paradise for shopaholic). The minutes i was there, i was stunned by the scene, and the beauty of the beach. but most importantly, the unpolluted greenish blue sea water. Perhaps i was too used to the polluted beach in other places. it's even nicer than Redang Island!!

when i sat down on the beach, yeah, on the beach, right under the sun, i looked around and noticed something. the people sunbathing on the beach are mostly white people (australian, european, and so on), it's 98% of them. only 2% of asian there. The culture is totally different, the White has always wanted to get tanned, while the Asian has always evaded from the sun. Besides, you can see that the Whites are all half-naked or on thier swim suits, but the Asians are getting an umbrealla. so funny to see such a big contrast, but i couldn't snap down any pic in time.

so i sat (not laid) while Mel and July laid on the beach for the sun. did i get tanned? yeah of course, i got tanned!! wahaha~~~and i felt a stronger (yeah, it's stronger, because i have always had sth for surfing) urge to surf today!!! i went to check out the surf board, the cheapest is 670 aus dollar, wtf~~~nvm, i will start working and earn money for my surf board!!!
my France flip-flop. haha.
breathtaking Bondi Beach.

Melinda with her charming smile.
Julie put on my glasses. haha. looks like a smart student, a PhD graduate in Mathematics and Phys from Oxford Uni?haha.
haha. self-portrait.

Blue Mountains

I suggested to Tom(my exhousemate) that we should go somewhere instead of staying at home bored ourselves to death yesterday. Blue mountains is the place i suggested to him, and yeah, there we went, Blue Mountains this morning. Without any guide, without any map in advance, just the excitement that had overflowed for the whole night. We set off at 6.45am this morning to catch the 7.18am train to Katoomba, which is in vicinity of Blue mountains, at the central railway station. Sherene (tom's new housemate who is currently occupying the room i had been sleeping in a month ago) followed us.

when we reached the central railway station, which is only 10 minutes walk from our place, we asked for the details of where we should be heading, which kind of tic we should purchase and so on. after that, we bought a a combination of rail tic and bus tic (the hop-on-hop-off blue mountains explorer link), and there we go, Blue Mountains.

it was a two-hours journey all the way to blue mountains. i am relieved enough to see the condition of the train, MUCH MORE better than KTM, especially compared to the KTM from singapore to Kuala Lumpur. so yeah, it's very comfortable to be in the train for two hours.

He is Tom, eating the sandwiches Sherene had prepared for us.
Sherene and I. she is from China but had been in Wellington, New Zealand for eight years, completed double degree there. aha.
aha, this picture is cool, the reflection in the mirror is so mysterious. i have had a sudden liking for taking picture recently.
i was playing around with my Lumix camera after was done with my novel-reading. This uncle was obviously sleeping across from where i sat. it's very thoughtful just looking at the picture. there is something weird but u cant tell from the pic.

after two hours and ten minutes on the train, we arrived at our destination, Katoomba station.
the staff was kind enough to help us with the photo-shooting. though it was not good enough, but it's very appreciated. where was Sherene? yeah, she was far gone ahead of us, so haha, very sorry to leave you out.
huhu, this was the double-decker red bus that we took from one stop to another. there are altogether 30 stops in the whole Blue Mountains area. it's not only a mountain, but a series of them. Blue MountainS. i like the bus very much, it had been such a fun sitting in it.

yeah, cascade. It's a nice one if the weather had not been that cold. i was freezing the whole day in spite of the jacket. arghhhhhh!!!
wow, this pic looks very much like a postcard. ok, i know i am boasting, but it is nice, isn't it?
we climbed all the way up to the peak of the mountains. so happy we did it after a long way through the muddy path which soiled my white shoes!!!!! arghhh!!!! so carefree and relaxed standing on top of the mountain, with the lush green trees and mountains as the background.
those three poles-like rock structure are the Three Sisters of which Blue Mountains is famous for. however, i still know nothing about the tale about the Three Sisters, sad case man. maybe i should do some research about it later. what a shame to tell people i know nothing about it after the trip.
huh? where to? he looked puzzled obviously!! ahah, we were just too tired to keep on walking, sat down and relaxed~~
when i went down the flight of stairs, there was this dried-seed-of-duno-what-species-of-tree that caught my attention. i halted and zoomed in the camera for this. yeah, that's the seed. do u feel it's sorta looks like sth? well, it looks very much like a dick, as Tom had agreed with me!! u could always get something unexpected from mother nature.

ok, just rocks and bridge. we were now right under the Three Sisters. there is a bridge that can link you to the Three Sisters. If you cannot stand the cold temperature, and freezing wind, it's better for you not to go. otherwise, u will be the statue among the Three Sisters.

ok, this was where we had our lunch. a small British cottage which sells a lot of sophiscated and pretty souvenier and half of the shop is allocated for people to have their teatime. the ambience inside is very very nice, trust me!! if you ever go to blue mountains, this is a must-go place. we had scones and Devonshire tea for lunch. the scones are very soft, delicious, and smelled nice too. Scones are something like muffin but softer than muffin andof course taste better than muffin. this has been the first time i tried out scones. Fantastic!!!!
i saw this handsome Husky on the street. he is damn handsome man!! Husky has always been my favourite dog. i have always wanted to rear one, but the weather in Malaysia doesnt suit him. sho shad~~
ok, the pic will end the post. i wonder why my hair has become brown colour when i am in Australia. it's pretty obvious when i go outdoor and light brown when i stay indoor. i didn't turn on the flash, neither shined by the sunlight. aha, just to tell that i didn't dye my hair!!!
